Patient Satisfaction Score
Out of over 3,500 hospitals posted on a federal government website, Texas Institute for Surgery received the maximum five-star rating in patients’ experience of care.

The scores on the Hospital Compare website of the Federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services rate patient perspectives on hospital care from one star (poor) to five stars (excellent). TIS ranked in the top 98th percentile.

“Texas Institute for Surgery physicians, nurses and support staff continue to exemplify excellence in patient care. We are honored to receive this recognition,” said John Croley, President, Texas Institute for Surgery.

The patient experience ratings are based on data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey (HCAHPS) measures that are included in Hospital Compare.
